Residential Contaminated Soil Remediation

You’re not alone, small & large residential remediation projects have been a part of many contractors portfolio for a long time. A reasonable amount of contamination results from spills, for example a burst kerosene tank, with the rest arising from historical contamination.

Several options for remediation are generally available for these projects, see our services list here for an indication.  We have found that vast majority end up as excavation removal projects.  The fun is carrying them out in confined areas with limited space, and then finishing the work without causing any damage to the property.  This video will show you one example.

And the final excavation.

See this blog post from John shows how apparently ‘inaccessible’ materials can be removed.  The guy lived safely in his house for the duration.

As always we’re here to discuss any issues you may have with the aim of finding the best solution for you, so give us a call it you want to know more on 0131 538 8456, or drop us an e-mail at info@soilutions.co.uk.

  1. It can be super frustrating to have to deal with contaminated soil removal. I think to add, one of the biggest things to consider, is the time frame. The sooner you can handle getting it removed, the better. Thank you for all the information!
